Job Description:

■Mission

Rakuten Payment is responsible for the payment and marketing areas, and aims to empower users, merchants, communities, and society through cashless, creating a society with active communication and smiles.

The main mission of Rakuten Payments' sales staff is to promote and provide consulting services to help companies in various business categories join and utilize Rakuten Pay, Rakuten Edy, Rakuten Point Card, and other cashless services offered by Rakuten, in order to spread the use of these services.

■Department Introduction/Organizational Structure

Rakuten Payments' Sales Division is mainly divided into different departments depending on the type of merchant business and whether you are approaching new or existing merchants.

We will propose a position for you based on your experience, skills, and ambitions.

■Specific Job Descriptions

As mentioned above, the roles of sales at Rakuten Payment are divided according to the department they belong to.

As an example, the following jobs are the main missions of a sales representative.

・Developing new merchants for each Rakuten Payment service

・Provide consulting services to existing merchants to expand their use of Rakuten Payment services (planning, formulation, and operation)

・Management and consulting of sales agencies for Rakuten Payment services.

・Sales and campaign operation and management in cooperation with local governments.

■Requirements

・At least 3 years of sales experience

・Basic PC skills and document creation skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

・Communication skills to discuss/execute measures with the involvement of others

・English proficiency of 800 or above in TOEIC, or motivation to obtain an equivalent score after joining the company.
